Philips Evnia 34M2C5601QA brings curved ultrawide immersion, 200 Hz gaming, AI-enhanced Ambiglow, and USB-C

Philips Evnia introduces the new Evnia 34M2C5601QA, a 34-inch curved ultrawide gaming monitor designed for immersive and responsive gameplay. WQHD resolution with a 21:9 aspect ratio, the Fast VA panel and a refresh rate of up to 200 Hz bring every gaming environment to life, delivering smooth motion and strong contrast. Ambiglow technology, enhanced with artificial intelligence, extends the gaming atmosphere beyond the boundaries of the screen, while the USB-C port with 90 W Power Delivery, the integrated KVM switch and MultiView make it easier to connect and manage multiple devices from a single setup.
A Wider View of the Game
The Evnia 34M2C5601QA features a 34-inch panel with a 1500R curvature and UltraWide Quad HD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. The 21:9 aspect ratio provides even more horizontal viewing space, giving the gaming environment more room to unfold, while also supporting wide desktop layouts and the simultaneous display of applications.
The Fast VA panel offers a nominal contrast ratio of 4000:1, helping dark scenes retain their depth and detail. The Smart Contrast function analyses the content being displayed and automatically adjusts the colours, as well as the intensity of the backlight, according to the requirements of the image.
HDR10 support improves brightness, contrast and colour performance with compatible content. The monitor reproduces 1.07 billion colours with 8-bit colour depth with FRC and covers 98% of the sRGB colour space.
High-Speed Gaming with Low Input Lag
The refresh rate of up to 200 Hz via DisplayPort 1.4 ensures smoother rendering of fast motion, making it easier to follow when the monitor is used with compatible hardware. At the same time, Adaptive-Sync synchronises the monitor’s refresh rate with the graphics card output, reducing screen tearing and stuttering as the frame rate changes.
For fast-paced games, Smart MBR 0.3 ms technology synchronises the LED backlight with the monitor’s refresh rate, reducing perceived motion blur. The monitor also offers a typical 1 ms GtG response time and Low Input Lag, minimising the time between a command and the corresponding action appearing on screen.
Enhanced gaming features provide greater control over visibility and aiming. Stark ShadowBoost reveals more detail in darker areas without overexposing the brighter parts of the image, while Smart Crosshair automatically adjusts the colour of the crosshair according to the background so that it remains clearly visible. Finally, the Philips Evnia Precision Center software brings together monitor settings, gaming customisation options and lighting management in a single interface.
Experience It Beyond the Boundaries of the Screen
Three-sided Ambiglow, enhanced with artificial intelligence, analyses the content and continuously adjusts the colour and intensity of the light projected behind the monitor. By spreading the colours into the surrounding space, it adds more atmosphere to gaming and entertainment.
AmbiScape extends this experience to compatible Matter-certified room lighting, allowing the lights to adapt to the content displayed on the screen and carry the feeling of the game beyond its boundaries.

Connect Multiple Devices from a Single Point
The USB-C connection supports video and data transfer, as well as power delivery of up to 90 W, allowing a compatible laptop to be connected and charged using a single cable. At the same time, the integrated USB hub features three USB-A ports for connecting peripheral devices.
The integrated KVM switch allows users to control two connected systems with a single keyboard and mouse, while MultiView supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, enabling content from two different sources to be displayed simultaneously on one screen.
The monitor offers comprehensive connectivity options, with two HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 connection and a headphone output. It also features two integrated 5 W stereo speakers, providing standalone audio playback without the need for external speakers.
Easy Adjustment for Every Type of Setup
The ergonomic stand offers height adjustment within a range of 130 mm, 30-degree swivel in each direction and tilt adjustment from -5 to 20 degrees.
At the same time, the Anti-Blue Light function adjusts blue light emission, while Flicker-Free technology adjusts brightness with the aim of reducing visible screen flicker. Finally, the monitor features an anti-glare coating and supports VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting.
Price and Availability
The new Philips Evnia 34M2C5601QA will be available on the market in September at a recommended retail price of €369.
