AOC’s B3 series to elevate workspaces: Ultra-narrow bezels meet USB-C and 100 Hz refresh
Athens, 19 February 2024 – Display specialist AOC is excited to announce the launch of its latest B3 series, a fresh take on the entry-level B2C monitors designed for modern home and office environments. The new B3 line-up launches with two 23.8” (60 cm) (AOC 24B3CF2 and 24B3CA2) and two 27” (68 cm) (AOC 27B3CF2 and 27B3CA2) models featuring IPS panels and Full HD resolution. With a 100 Hz refresh rate, USB-C connectivity and 65 W USB Power Delivery, these four monitors bring together an updated design and enhanced performance to meet the evolving needs of today’s homes and businesses.

Tailored for diverse professional needs
Connectivity is streamlined with a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1×1 (5 Gbps) port, offering 65 W USB Power Delivery and support for DisplayPort Alt mode, therefore enabling a single-cable connection to laptops to power them and share/extend their screen simultaneously. Two additional USB-A 3.2 Gen 1×1 ports on the rear allow easy connection of peripherals such as keyboard, mouse or external drives, and the connected laptop can also access/use the peripherals via a USB-C connection..
Smooth viewing with 100 Hz refresh rate
Most users today are already familiar with high refresh rates from today’s smartphones and gaming monitors. Special to the B3 series is the 100 Hz refresh rate, a significant upgrade from standard 75 Hz monitors. This results in smoother on-screen motion, which is particularly beneficial in fast-paced work environments. Even when scrolling through a web page or a social media feed, the improvement in motion can be appreciated. Recognising the importance of eye health in home and professional environments, the B3 monitors are equipped with LowBlue mode and Flicker-Free technology to reduce eye fatigue during long hours of work. This feature is particularly beneficial for users who spend extended periods in front of a computer screen, such as programmers, financial analysts or writers. The series includes monitors with a variety of stand adjustments – from the tilt-only 24B3CA2 and 27B3CA2 to the height-adjustable 24B3CF2 and 27B3CF2 models, catering to different ergonomic needs. The 100×100 VESA mount compatibility provides options for wall mounting or multi-monitor arm setups for increased workspace flexibility.

All four models feature 4 ms GtG and 1 ms MPRT response times, and Adaptive Sync for variable refresh rate support, providing a balance between office productivity and occasional gaming and video streaming use.
An internal power supply ensures a tidy workspace and makes it easy to fit the monitor into unusual installations. The inclusion of 2x 2W speakers and HDMI 1.4 input adds to the versatility of the monitors, making them well-suited for a wide range of office tasks. All B3 models come in an ecofriendly paper padded packaging to reduce their environmental footprint.
