AOC Q24B36X and Q27B36X: QHD monitors that work hard and play smooth

144 Hz and 0.5 ms MPRT meet home and office versatility

Display specialist AOC expands its versatile B3 series with two new QHD monitors built for users who want more from their display. The 23.8-inch (60.5 cm) Q24B36X and 27-inch (68.6 cm) Q27B36X combine sharp 2560×1440 resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 0.5 ms MPRT response time, delivering smooth visuals whether you’re working through spreadsheets, scrolling through content, or unwinding with a game after hours.

Work sharp, play smooth:
The Q24B36X and Q27B36X bring 144 Hz to the B3 series

More than just an office monitor
The B3 series has always been about bringing practical, well-designed displays to homes and workplaces. The Q24B36X and Q27B36X take that philosophy further by adding the kind of motion performance usually reserved for dedicated gaming monitors. At 144 Hz, scrolling feels fluid, video playback is seamless, and casual gaming sessions become noticeably smoother. The 0.5 ms MPRT response time keeps fast-moving game action crisp and ghost-free, giving users a competitive edge when switching from work to play.

This makes them a natural fit for students, home office workers, and anyone who uses their monitor for a mix of productivity and entertainment. There’s no need to choose between a work monitor and a gaming monitor when one display handles both.

QHD sharpness on an IPS panel
Both monitors feature IPS panels with 2560×1440 resolution, offering noticeably sharper detail than Full HD. Text is crisp, images are detailed, and the extra screen real estate makes multitasking more comfortable. The 27-inch Q27B36X delivers 109 ppi (pixel per inch) pixel density with 118.5% sRGB and 92.1% DCI-P3 coverage, while the 23.8-inch Q24B36X offers an even tighter 123 ppi with 114.7% sRGB and 88.8% DCI-P3.

Wide 178°/178° viewing angles ensure colours stay consistent from different positions, useful for sharing the screen with a colleague or leaning back during a video call. 300 cd/m² brightness provides comfortable visibility in typical home and office lighting.

Adaptive-Sync and HDR10
Adaptive-Sync technology eliminates screen tearing by matching the monitor’s refresh rate to your graphics card’s output, keeping visuals smooth during both work and play. HDR10 support enhances contrast and colour depth when viewing compatible content, adding extra vibrancy to streaming video and games that support it.

Comfortable for long sessions
Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue Light mode help reduce eye strain during extended use, an important consideration for anyone spending full workdays at their desk. The tilt-adjustable stand (-5°/21°) allows for easy positioning, and VESA 100×100 compatibility means the monitors can be wall-mounted or used with monitor arms for more flexible setups.

Simple, practical connectivity
Each monitor includes one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 input, covering the needs of most desktop PCs, laptops, and current-generation consoles. A 3.5 mm headphone output allows for private listening without extra adapters.

Two sizes for different spaces
The 23.8-inch Q24B36X suits compact desks and smaller workspaces, while the 27-inch Q27B36X offers more screen space for users who prefer a larger canvas. Both share the same 144 Hz refresh rate, 0.5 ms MPRT response time, and clean B3 design language with narrow bezels that look at home in any environment.

Pricing and availability
The AOC Q24B36X and Q27B36X will be available from January 2026 at MSRPs of 149 € and 169 €, respectively.
