Fraport Greece celebrated World Tourism Day with a landmark gastronomic event at Thessaloniki Airport “Makedonia”, spotlighting the city’s rich culinary heritage and its dynamic positioning as a contemporary tourism destination.

Extrovert was responsible for the concept creation and end-to-end realization of the event, introducing “A Geometry of Taste” — a creative concept set up at the Departures level that showcased local flavors through geometric presentations to all visitors. Tradition and innovation combined to create an experience that celebrated the city’s culinary heritage and welcoming spirit, while opening a dialogue with travelers and engaging local stakeholders in the city’s cultural narrative.

Welcoming more than 1,500 visitors, the event offered an immersive journey into Thessaloniki’s tastes and hospitality. Through visual identity and seamless on-site execution, Extrovert created an engaging environment that highlighted Thessaloniki’s culinary culture and reinforced its appeal as a vibrant destination for travelers from around the world.»
